I specialize in photographing spaces and things, people have never been my focus. Being the primary photographer for local company Laudi Vidni has forced me to step outside of my comfort zone in this regard, though. I’ve worked on model shots to show their products to scale, and most recently, we took a trip to their factory to get some images. They are proud to make all their bags in the United States (in Chicago!), and they needed some photographs to show this process. This included capturing the (ever patient and friendly) craftspeople at work, and I really enjoyed creating these environmental portraits. The space and tools they were using were also pretty photogenic.
